High-speed Wire Rope Hoist for Sale to Zimbabwe

Challenge:

A thermal processing plant in ZIMBABWE, needed a high-speed wire rope hoist. Used in a heat treating and quenching operation, the hoist had to have fast lifting speeds to ensure quick transport of a load from the oven to the quenching tank.

Previously, the application used a competitor’s hoist with a low lifting speed 15m/min, but faster speeds were required.

Solution:

After confirming with our engineers, we provided a high-speed, 5 ton wire rope hoist. The customer can lift at speeds of 35m/min, greatly speeding up the transport process. In addition to high speeds, the electric hoist was equipped with heat shields for protection against the high heat of the oven.
